Hi guys,

I have M Performance suspension kit installed and the car looks like it needs some spacers.

Does 15mm Front and 18mm Rear cause any rubbing with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S?

As i live in Spain, is there any reliable source in EU to get the 15mm and 18mm kit? R44 or AUTOiD only offers the 15mm/20mm options...

I have 18 in front and 15 on back with MP HAS (although while I was installing spacers it looked to me like HAS is set all the way down).

My snow tires would run like hell, my PS4S only rub a tiny bit on full lock in reverse, particularly coming out of my driveway on a weird angle.

I may trim just the offending louvers, or I may buy the arch modification kit from auto id.

18 in front seems like a bit too much for me. Im actually looking for the opposite, 15 Front and 18 Rear. Rear of course wont be a problem, but, will the 15mm Front rub?

I run 15mm front 12mm rear Future Classic spacers on OEM wheels.

The fronts rub when turning the wheel to full lock in reverse. I've included a picture. You get used to it. Rears are fine.

You need to have your fender liners modified. You dont want to do any damage that would impede any airflow through the vents. Best way to modify (not an M2 liner but you get the idea):

I've seen this. I've also seen the $800 fender liners that IND sells. It hasn't been an issue. Temps stay good, nothing is broken or cracked, those little pieces just flex and I'll hear it rub a bit when backing into my parking spot in the garage once in a while.

I would keep an eye on them. Mine got a little mangled before I modified it.

Is your car lowered? If so how much lower vs stock?

It's lowered as low as the OEM M Performance HAS will allow. I think it's 20mm.

Stock suspension? PS4S?

What ive been reading here is that once lowered, theres enough room to fit 18mm without any rubbing problems. Mine is not the OEM so i think 15 front should fit.

An old trick I've used in the past to gain clearance is to heat up the plastic with a heat gun or blow dryer and once its soft and malleable press in the area that your tire is rubbing against by gently massaging it back. You want to push it in a bit more than you need because the plastic has memory and will want to bounce back. Have a wet towel ready, once you have the liner where you want it quickly quench it with the towel while applying inward pressure to lock it into its new shape. Afterwards you won't have any more rubbing lock to lock.

Thanks for the reply. Wasnt expecting rubbing at all as ive read from some people here.

Im still wondering if it will be a big problem as its my daily and im not planning on modifying the vents… Will the rubbing end when the material gets worn out?
