Keep Roof Sunblind open all the time?

Where does it say it will reopen? I only see that it says it'll close. Then you need to manually reopen it which is why I turned off the setting.

At least for my 740xi it says in the printed manual and in all online versions that it will move to its last position.

24 i7 M70 w/ theater screen

Prior to software update 03/2024.40 - the roof sun blind remained open after locking the car. Also, I couldn’t open / close w/ rear door controls - pop up said function not available

After software update 03/2024.40 - the roof blind automatically closes when locking the cars. Also, now I can open/close w/ rear door controls.
