Found this 525 in amazing condition in Oslo. 50K km. Inbound on a freighter. Been at sea for nearly 12 weeks. Expected arrival in Long Beach, CA on March 30. Will update photos and report on drive test once landed.

It's a Swiss delivery car. Was in a collection in Switzerland until it was bought by vintage dealer in Oslo last year. He has early 318 and 628 (auto) in similar condition from same collection.

Just got notice that freighter arrived in Long Beach today. Over 3 months in transit from Scandinavia! Hopefully get eyes on it this week.

525 finally arrived and sitting at a friend's garage. Waiting to do a fluid service next week before taking it out on a test run. Looks like it's been sitting since 2012. Condition is mind blowing.

Yes, it looks stunning. I imported a 06 330xiT 6MT into Canada from Germany 2 yrs ago. Picked up in Halifax and immediately drove it about 14 hrs to get it home. Ran like a charm. About 126,000 kms. It had it's TuV government inspection about 1 yr ago but only 5-6000 kms ago. Passed inspection here easily [nothing found wrong] and in my 2 yrs, nothing has needed repair. Good Luck with yours

Finally took the 525 to Meccanica in Glassell Park, a highly reputable vintage BMW shop. 25 year veteran technician was thrilled to see E12 in this condition. "It's the first 5 series. Never seen one in this condition!" Hope to get it on the road in a couple of weeks.

You’re not kidding about the condition! That interior! The wheel looks factory fresh. Count me as mind blown.
