Need help!

I hard wired my dashcam recently fuse tap, now I got this error.

Is this a serious concern/problem? Will it drain my battery?

drains battery.. that is why the oem dashcam needs to be coded....

It’s detecting something is draining the battery. Depending on how long you leave your car parked it will drain it completely. Unless you want it recording full time just tap it to a fuse that shuts down after car is closed. There’s some posts about that here

What dash cam are you using?

The BMW Advanced Car Eye 3.0 Pro can be ordered as a Port-installed option. One forum member said he paid $730 installed.
