Checked yesterday and I am now at 150 with a production date of 5/24/2024.

I checked this morning, it says Waiting for Carrier Assignment! Was in QC for only a day. Almost home! I wonder how long transport to Chicago will take?

I bet we are on the same truck! Same step going to Chicago as well.

But I'm getting mixed answers in my google searches, some 2 days, some 5 days depending on the train drop off schedule.

They don't go by train. It takes a little over a day to Chicago.

Chicago takes a day by truck only.
California takes 3-4 weeks by train?

I’m at status 165 now. Delivery date has come forward by three weeks.

The current order status is 165 - transit from USA to Bremerhaven. This was updated today the 11/05/2024. This means your new car has now been built and is in the process of being transferred to our logistics partners for delivery.

It was pretty fast... entered production today and already awaiting carrier for delivery QC took an hour - hopefully they were actually working on Saturday and not trying to get home!

my summary:

production begins 4/23 with build date 5/8

build date moved to 5/7

5/6 late in the day-entering assembly line

5/7 production completed

5/8 awaiting carrier assignment

5/11 in transit to Boston!

does anyone know roughly how long it will take to get to dealer?
do they drive on weekends?

About 2 days. Depends on the driver but usually do.

I moved from an X7 to X5 for mainly two reasons. One - I really dislike the look of the new front of the X7. Second, no longer need the third row which wasn’t a bit clumsy to get to and not terribly spacious. I added an X3 for a third car….
