Let the flaming begin.

PS, the G87 is not my first M car in case that was going to be one of the questions.
My wife's Telluride has more steering feel than the M2...that said, the car isn't awake unless you're braking the law.

^Finally a couple people who got what I was saying. The G87 is very capable, but not the most fun car in the world.

Stateside, on open roads. I have not driven an M2 on a track yet but, on unrestricted highways, the car is tons of fun.

Its a fun car. Not for you. Thats what the rest of us assume. Was not advertised as the 'most fun' car in the world. Thats utterly subjective. Whats also utterly obvious is you made a mistake buying it and did not have a test or one sufficient to see how the M2 works for you.

It’s a fun car for the right driver.

Definitely a fun car. Love both and one thing I noticed was, wife’s X3 M40i is definitely louder than our M2 at start up.

Like I said in my original post, I've had multiple M/AMG cars (plus an Alpha QV and a Supra). I just don't think the G87 checks the fun box as well as the others. There's a level of disconnectedness that detracts from the overall driving experience. To me anyway...

Ugh! I want to like this car. But hearing stuff like this makes me say no to it. How do they make the steering feel worse on the g series compared to the f series.

It’s one person. He’s looking for people to call him crazy.
Relax. You’ll find numerous contrary opinions.

Interesting. I need to test drive a manual m2. I’ll try and offer money to someone that owns one for a test drive. lol!

Go drive it in MDM mode then come back and say how you truly feel…

And don’t believe everything you read
