3/2024.40 software update

Anyone notice any differences on their G87 after the update?

Yes, unlike the previous update, I had to turn off auto start/stop again and re-program my M2 button settings. Also, I might be imagining it but the M exhaust sound on M2 seems a bit louder.

Interesting my button programming stayed the same, but the exhaust seems a bit more muted in all modes. Do you have Sport Plus set for engine in M2? I have that in M1 and M2.

M2 (just like the car model name) is everything towards Sports+. I only engage M2 once the oil temp is white.

.

Yes, a couple of my M1 preference settings reverted to factory settings, no biggie resetting. As for the exhaust, it appears unchanged.

My downloaded was a PITA. Took many trips over the past week ( most were 20 to 30 min trips) to get it downloaded to the car. Once done it was a quick update. A few things needed recoding but no big deal.

Yep same observation. Had to flick stop/start off again and m1 and m2 settings were reset. Minor inconveniences nothing major.

sorry for the newbie question here but if you have a Femto unlocked DME will OTA updates like this re-lock it? Or is that only if the dealership reflashes it or something like that?

Yes it will. Must disable auto updates and do not do any manual updates.
