Adhesive or 3M tape?

I’ll be putting on Maxton full length side splitters soon. What have others used, 3M tape or adhesive? Do you use all the screws? Some of the screws? None of the screws?

10 screws per side plus adhesive seems like overkill.

Yous should use 3M tape to align it and the 10 or so screws to secure it.

Skip the adhesive right? Because that’s the part I’m most reluctant to do. Smearing “permanent” adhesive all over the body panels is 😒

Just use 3m adhesive promoter before you put on the double sided tape and it will work well. Then use the screws. You don't need anything permanent.
