I installed the factory strut bars last weekend. I was surprised that I did not need to use the spacers that came with the Dinan intake. The strut bar had about 3/16" clearance at its closest to the intake cover without the spacer with no rubbing.

Probably want to use the spacers as don’t forget the engine and intake will move a bit under load.
