Does the 3/36k maintenance transfer to new owner?

I am looking at a few options to purchase a used m2 with low miles but am weighing the idea of going new. I know the warranty transfers, but does maintenance transfer as well. Had a private seller tell me yes, but know bmw changed rules. Any info would be great on this.

It has on my two M vehicles.

"For model year 2022 and newer vehicles sold or leased by an authorized BMW Center, BMW Ultimate Care coverage is transferable to subsequent purchasers, owners, or lessees. BMW Ultimate Care coverage is not transferable for all model years 2021 and older."
