Not my front, but washing my car one day, I noticed my rear one was popped out a bit.
And, it popped out during my accident.

Over 6,000 miles on mine so far, no problems with the covers (along the way: several self service car washes (found a good one in Asheville but it took a week of trial and error, I live in Central FL), heavy rain, and triple digit speeds). I did take the rear cover off to see how it worked, had to put it back on a certain way to fit snug. My service advisor said this is a common "feature". I don't know if replacement covers are available yet, but the next time I go to the dealer (nice free breakfast) I will inquire.

Tell him it is so that he will press it back in for you so you don't have to. Problem solved.

Mine has never popped out. And that's with me adding and removing a tow hook licence plate holder a couple times. It takes a bit of a push to click in, but once in, it stays put.

Use a hair dryer or a heat gun and warm up the tabs on the clip a bit and gently bend them outwards a bit for a tighter fit. Do not go overboard, better to heat, bend, and repeat as needed.

I have the same issue and just got the break in service today and the dealer told me the original one was broken and ordered a new one for me and only need to wait for 2 weeks without any cost.
