Cars & Coffee Today
Took the M2 & my Callaway Carbon Edition Z06 to a local cars & coffee this morning. Was honestly surprised at the attention and positive comments the M2 received. Were there for about 2 hours and the M2 had people around it, taking photos, etc., for nearly the entire time. People really loved the M-color seats as well.
In addition to the exotics, lots of Mustangs, Corvettes, Audis, there were some really nice M3s & 4s. Didn't get any pics of my cars at C&C, but here's the M2 (with the wife driving) heading over & my Z.

Not surprised at all the attention the M2 is getting. I have gotten more compliments on my TR M2 than any cars I ever own. My last toy car before the M2 was a C7 Stingray and I think I got 1 nice car with that car in the few years I owned it. I have gotten at least 6-7 nice cars during gas fill-up and saw at least a few people taking photos of the car.
Initially, most of the haters are F87 owners or trolls. The sales number and public don't lie, they mostly love it. |

Thanks! Surprisingly I don't really have many with the two together (will have to fix that). Here's a few.

Can I have your X3M? That thing sure is pretty. Do you do any SUV type of stuff with it like towing, hauling bags of mulch, put dogs in it, etc? I'm wondering if it is better suited as more of a garage queen. I looked at a toronto red one at the dealer a while back and it just seemed way to nice to do suv type things with it. I'm asking because I have a deep hatred for my wife's Lexus GX 460 (mainly just the HVAC and infotainment) and have fantasized about replacing it some day.

We use it for "suv-type stuff". We've got an all-weather mat in the back & my wife has a cover that covers the seat backs when we fold them down & goes up on the sides to protect those areas as well if we're carrying anything back there. I'm going to be installing a hitch so we can carry our bikes around & we have a rack that attaches to a tow hitch as well if we need to carry stuff out back. If I wasn't a car person, I'd definitely love the X3MC - it's a great vehicle.

The ‘24 X3MC I test drive about 3 weeks ago was exactly that color with the black wheels. It was awesome. Too nice for the SUV stuff we do to ours. Big hairy dogs, tons of gross road trips / mountain drives on dirt roads / lake trips with wet stuff.
Leave that duty for the Subarus.

My wife wants to get a classic Porsche. Something between mid 70's to early 90's. Our next vehicle purchase could be one of those. I don't know how we could manage keeping the M2 though. I need to have my modern rocketship car. An older Porsche would be sweet but sometimes I just need to rip.
