Preface: this may be a dumb question.

I don’t drive my car as often as I’d like so finally hit break-in service at about the 6 month mark.

I assumed my next oil change would be 1 year or 10k miles from break-in? But mybmw app is still showing a September oil change. Can’t find the intervals in the owners manual.

So which is it? Thanks!

Answer is that the break-in service does not affect the OCI.

So the first oil change is scheduled for 15,000Km or 1 year from in-service date, and the same thereafter.
