I went with VT Forged in the end. They offered the sweet spot of options/cost/delivery time. Super excited I posted the renders in the VT forged thread.

LLumar Air 80 on the windshield (77% transmittance) and
LLumar IRX 40 everywhere else (42% transmittance).

Haven't really driven it much to know how well it does at rejecting heat but I think it looks good and the windshield is still very clear although you can tell it's a little darker than before. I'll probably adjust to it in a few days and never think about it again but if not I can always peel it off.
Heat / ir / uv rejection is an absolute must here in the desert so all my cars go this route, albeit darker than you opted for. Except the windshield I found 70% being the sweet spot of effectiveness but not dark enough to cause issues.

Looks are a nice side effect of the choice and yours looks good. And your wheel gap antics had me rolling 🤣 .

Amazing that you don’t get pulled over for the tint on the windshield.

Usually you will never get bothered about 70%. 55% is risky and anything below, I feel, is just asking for a hassle.

I don’t tint my whole windshield, but I always get a pretty large ghetto-brow on all my cars. I’ll be doing it to this one. I’m amazed nobody gets these anymore.
I must still be stuck in the 90s. I usually do a 5% strip across the top. Really helps to block the sun.
