A friend off mine has a machine that can press round holes in metal , so when I'm ready with it all the stars will become round holes and it will create more cooling ...

Of course, product coming from China...

First, who knows if and how this fits. You may run into more fitment/modification issues. I know everyone is trying to target savings but some things are better off going with reliability and proven item, and spend a little bit more.

I would also be cautious in modifying the holes to protect whatever integrity the item may have.

Just my opinion...

I’m not a metallurgist but wouldn’t all those holes, previously stars, lessen the metal’s strength and ultimately protection you’re purchasing?
