New Owner

Just put a hold on an allocation arriving in the next month. My list of cars has been all over but this is my first luxury brand and first v6. I’m excited for something new and to compare it to the v8 american muscle cars I’ve had most recently.

I hope you're not disappointed, but it's an inline-6, not a V-6.

I made a similar transition from a modded 18 Mustang GT PP1 to the g87. Much more refined power delivery, interior leaps and bounds more luxurious and comfortable. Better mpg was just an added bonus. Exhaust is almost silent / ev like in oem form but that is easily upgraded, though I accepted an inline 6 with twins will never sound like a v8 with long tubes and full exhaust lol. Shorter wheel base makes it also more fun to throw around, and despite the weight complaints is still lighter as well. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

I am coming from a Camaro and a Charger. I did love the exhaust notes of the v8 so I’m a little curious as to how quiet it will seem.

Cold starts are almost silent with valves closed. Pop to sport plus and wakes up some. Swap out the mid pipe and it's instantly way better. Personally went AA equal length but some like the more mellow single style. You can always go with a catless dp for more if needed, or swap out the axle back as well.

Congrats on the new M2! From glancing at that screenshot looks like you have a very close spec to mine. I got the black paint, black wheels, blue calipers, and the M color highlight seats. I picked up mine in January and remember the weeks of tracking the car's progress and then finally having the moment of seeing it the first time at the dealership. So much excitement.

We were almost identical then I see you have the carbon fiber roof where I have the sunroof. What about the heads up display and transmission option? I do not have the HUD and my car is the 6mt.
