Hi all,

I just placed an order for MY25 today and have production number, Week 32 build.
I selected Portimao Blue but the new on M240 Skyscraper Grey is second choice.
I didn't do Skyscraper mainly because it's new on M240 so I don't really know how it would look.... What's everyone's opinion between the 2 colors? Would any of you go with Skyscraper? I'm getting standard black seats if that makes any difference.

Both are nice. Skyscraper is an easy colour to live with.
However, the best colour is BSM.

IMO Portimao is a much more interesting colour. You will definitely be happy seeing it shine on a nice sunny day got such depth to the colour.

Neven been a fan of red cars, but the new red on 240 looks great.

Owned several black cars in the past and never again.
It's beautiful for a minute after wash and that's it.

Agreed... plus we have a Brooklyn Grey X3 M40i at home so I kind of don't want 2 "greys"

blue sounds the better route. She’ll be beautiful either way

CF? Moonroof delete?

There's no CF roof option... but there is moonroof delete.

Ah, that’s great news for me. I have a 230 M Sport with a moonroof delete,
and was long hoping for same option in a 240. There are rumors of a CF
option in August but I do wanna pay $2000+ for that…only on an M2 for me.

I like the Skyscraper and if given the choice you’re looking at, I’d go with that. However, I almost got the Portimao when I got mine, but the wife didn’t like it (despite that fact that she’s never even ridden in it lol). I ended up with Brooklyn.

Brooklyn and Skyscraper are colors that are very easy to keep looking clean. I really like the look of PB, but it’s dark enough that it is difficult to keep looking like new. I planned to order a Vegas Red, but when I went to the dealership they had both a BGM and an AW in stock. We have a BGM X3 and I ended up going for the AW. I really like the contrasting colors of AW with the black trim and what really made me decide to get that specific vehicle is that it had tacora red leather, which is discontinued for 2025.

Get what you enjoy the most, just be aware that the darker colors are going to be difficult to keep looking clean. I am getting PPF on my black trim for this reason. Good luck and you will enjoy the ride regardless of which color you choose.

Interesting that you can order but I have not seen any of the pricing guides up (for the US) and the configurator won't be up for a bit either.

Personally, I think the new Vegas Red is sharp, but Thundernight is more unique.

We have a 24 X3 M40 in Brooklyn at home.... so I kind of wanted to stay away from another "grey" lol

Dealers can send you pricing guide but not all dealers have allocations yet.

Yea we have a 24 BGM X3 M40 at home and it's hard to tell that it's dirty unless you look real close.... but I kind of wanna stay away from another "grey", which was why I didn't go Skyscraper. I'll probably just stick with PB since it changes in different lighting conditions.

My 23 M240i is finished in Portimao blue.

Looks even better in the flesh.

Although I believe there are more colours available for the 2025 model than there was for 2023 cars.

Annoyed that it wasn’t an option for my my24. I have used the moonroof 0 times for the 7k miles I drove since I got the car
