Why is carbon fiber upgrade $800? The M50 and M340i offer carbon fiber for $300. Is there additional locations for M240i?

Can you get both the Ambient lighting and the M Sport lighting now? It lets me select both. I thought previously they were exclusive. Like if you got M sport you didn't get the rest of the lighting in the footwells, etc.

Edit: Also is it just me or are the tailpipe surrounds on the 240's more horizontal and less trapezoidal?

A few confusing things on the configurator.. are heated seats standard? I only see options for heated steering wheel

Also do you still get M-Sport brakes if you dont select the premium package?

Not sure on the heated seats, but seems that way.

For the M-Sport brakes, it's not the premium package that gives you those, it's the Dynamic Handling Package (on 230's) or the M-Sport Pro package (on both).

It's a no cost option in the UK

Around $3K more than my 2022, only differences are added CF package and ACC, $1,300 in options.

I notice on 2025 M2 configurator the carbon fiber trim is also $800 but when selected the steering wheel also changes to carbon fiber. Maybe same for M240i?

I believe the carbon the steering wheel is an M car thing. I've played around with a few configurators and it seems the the M2/M3/M4 get it.

No just the M2, M3, and M4 get the additional carbon fiber on the steering wheel and paddle shifters. The CF trim option is just overpriced on the M240i.
