Just had my 20k mile service done where the rear tire tread measured 5/32”. Two days later I get a wear alert on my BMW app

So when I replace the tires how can I update the new information regarding brand and type of tire on the app. I don’t see how on the app or from the car

you can´t... tireservice has to reprogram the sensors with the data of the new tires...
