i’m in the market for a new weekend toy but not committed yet to either a g82 or g87

i can get some pretty aggressive deals on the g82 and not so much on the g87. either way one will be in my garage in the near future.

i wanted to start ordering parts as i don’t like driving stock. So for educated forum members can you tell me the following.

Are the following below all interchangeable between the platforms

-midpipes or full exhaust
-KW HAS lowering kits
-Wheels- i will be going aftermarket with a 20x10 et 8 20x11 et 11 or something close in that offset range
-front mount intakes. prob going with project gamma.

intakes fit almost universally, unless they are front mount - i think there are G87 specific part numbers due to different bumper clearances.
wheels are identical spec as g80/82
i believe most mid pipes are different as exhaust is shorter, downpipes will be same, rear muffler i assume same but not sure

I believe the mirror covers are identical, yet a recent quote for carbon fibre mirror covers for the G87 were several hundred dollars more expensive than for the M3/M4. Please correct me if the mirror covers are not interchangeable between the three M cars.
