G87 M2 Steering Wheel Size for Disklok

New member here.

Please could someone with a G87 M2 tell me the diameter in centimetres of the steering wheel as my Google/Copilot search skills on this have failed me.

Looking to get a Disklok and need to see if I should get
Small fits 35-38.9cm
Medium fits 39-41.4cm

https://disklokuk.co.uk/fitting-guide/

Thank you in advance :-)

36.83 cm. I clicked that link and honestly thought that product was a joke. I'm assuming you're worried about your car being stolen?

Thank you. Yes, that is my concern.

I wanted to fit a Autowatch Ghost immobiliser but BMW Financial Services would not give me written consent to do that.

I take you are not impressed with that device. Are there any physical devices you would recommend that are not "modifications" to the car?

It reminds me of The Club from the '80s. It's not going to prevent anyone from towing your car away & may actually lead to potential thieves damaging your car, smashing a window, etc., just for the heck of it.

Tbh - if I lived and/or worked in an area that caused me to have legitimate concerns of my vehicle being stolen, I wouldn't buy a flashy, expensive vehicle. I've owned many expensive performance vehicles, and currently my M2 is the least expensive in my garage. I've never worried about them being stolen. That's what insurance is for.

I don't live/work in such an area where I am concerned about it being stolen. I'm with you on that if I did I would not buy an expensive vehicle as you suggest. I'd have an older performance car :-)

My concerns is not about where I live, it is about parking while out and about, parking in car parks, trips to London etc. I'm going on a long European road trip though the mountains of Northern Portugal and Spain and will be parking in hotel car parks, national parks etc.

There was a M2 stolen by a key "relay attack" in a 56 seconds.

A device like this would stop such an theft or make it take longer is my thought.

However I do think excellent insurance including GAP insurance is a must for this vehicle as suggested.

Just reading this thread…..
A thought, is the fuel pump relay easily accessible? A ball ache to remove every time you park it, but when it’s left in a dodgy area? Just a thought.
