Happy with CS style CF rear spoiler from Kies

https://www.kiesmotorsports.com/prod...=shopify_email

My PPF installer put on the new spoiler while they had it in. It's nice quality and I like the pop of carbon amidst all the white. I know there are dirt cheap aliexpress options but for $188 I like the results.

how flush is the fitment? If you don't mind showing a top-down view as well. I have a 240 coming in and have been considering this spoiler.

That helps. I’ve looked at this spoiler but wasn’t sure if it fits all the way across

I like the products from Kies. I think they have good stuff and the prices are fair. They are from Jersey too so that is a plus

Here ya go! Disclaimer: Yes it's dirty. I am waiting for my first wash with the PPF installer to go over care.

Looking good!

I went with duck bill style and had painted to match kind of like CSL look.

What brand spoiler was that?

Honestly, when it is all said and done, I think the G87 looks best with no spoiler.

If I hadn't already gotten my Kies spoiler when I saw photos without the spoiler, I would have just removed it.

I think painting white makes sense with no carbon roof, definitely gives a cohesive color scheme.

Cheers!

To each their own but it looks unfinished without a spoiler and the OEM is an absolute joke.

IMO, the spoilers manufactured to not go to the lip of the trunk or span the width of the trunk (yes M Performance, I am talking about you) look poorly designed (or cheaper out on material).

My top picks are the TRE-01 and Unit 17 OEM++.

I guess adding a larger spoiler on the trunk, carbon or otherwise, calls for more aero mods to balance out the looks. I think if you don't want to go down that road, a naked trunk without the pitiful factory spoiler looks cleaner. BMW's decision to put two bends in the trunk sheet-metal really makes it difficult to design a spoiler that's going to compliment every angle.

Either way, it's definitely subjective. After all, the best selling BMW cosmetic modification has to be M colored grill stripes...

I've seen several pics of this spoiler and it doesn't seem to fit flush on the trunk, same in this pic. Zoomed in, the color also looks off from the rest of the car in this pic.

Idk - but it appears off-white in that photo. I had my tre-01 painted to match & it's a pretty perfect match to my trunk.

Yes. Depending on the lighting it seems a tiny bit off. Was supposed to use same color code but I may bring it back and have it redone.

Yeah, I did my calipers and purchased the Brooklyn Grey from BMW so it would be an exact color match.
