HUD moving?

Anyone notice their HUD moving after a while? I noticed this morning it was obviously titled to the right. I opened up the setting and had to move it three notches left to get it straight. I haven't changed the settings since buying the car 6 months ago.

I notice this also in my wife's X3MC. Sometimes on the center setting, it's tilted one direction or the other. Then later after setting it so it's straight, it tilted again & I have to move it back the opposite direction.

Thanks - but the HUD position is set with the other memory settings & is set to a specific fob. I use my key, the vehicle recognizes my profile & adjusts everything accordingly. I don't use the memory buttons.

I think I maybe wasn't clear in my initial post. In my car I had the HUD rotation setting three places to the right of center & the display was straight.
When on the center position, the display was tilted left. My rotation setting has been three places to the right of center since I purchased the car, and that's where it was yesterday.

However, now when in that three places to the right setting, the display was noticeably tilted to the right. Now when set to center, the display is straight. That's what I meant by the display moving.

I've noticed this on my wife's as well where sometimes I'll have to adjust the rotation setting left or right or back to center to get the display straight. I also have to adjust her's up or down to get it back to the same location. Mine hasn't moved up or down yet, and hadn't moved until yesterday.

*on my car, only my settings are programmed. I've only ever used one fob & I'm the only one who drives it (though my wife did drive it this morning for the 1st time & used the second fob).

Even if it’s just you, I would still set the memory button. It will save the settings to your profile.

Did a software update yesterday and this morning the HUD was tilted again but the setting was the same. Previously my "rotation" setting was set to zero or in the middle & the HUD was straight. This morning the HUD was very noticeably tilted to the left (door side) but the setting was still at zero/middle. I moved the rotation setting right 4 to get it straight. This is very odd.

Is there ever any sort of change log with the updates?

The updates never say what they're updating. I did have to go back and reset both my M1 & M2 button settings, as well as all the changes I had previously made with Bimmercode.

This is happening to me a few times a week. Key profile is definitely correct, HUD does not change with seat position so that has nothing to do with it. Sometimes I just get in the car and the HUD is at minimum height again. No idea why this is happening.

Are your settings changing or are they they same but the HUD is in a different location?

That's odd. My settings are staying the same but the orientation of the display is moving.
