Not too sure what to tell you on that case. Maybe keep your deposit down and wait. Nothing else really to do especially since you don’t have an allocation. It doesn’t really matter until that happens.

Is this for a new or used car? I can't believe a dealer would be selling a new M2 for less than the sticker price.

I just find it hard to believe a dealer would be discounting a new M2. Maybe if its a really unique spec that the buyer backed out on and they don't have other buyers on a waiting list, or if the dealer just sucks at marketing their inventory. If someone can show me a purchase agreement with the discounted price then I will shut up.

its not really about sucking at marketing.its about maintaining the relationship. Also knowing people in the industry makes a diff. Emails, and amounts are all there but why post it and give up my connection to prove a stranger online wrong? I can guarantee you the deals are out there and its a pretty nice spec. These arent moving as fast or great as most would think. Do a quick search in your area and follow up on it every week. You will see the majority is still there. Market has been changing and with it , negotiations. Cars cant sit longer than 30 days in most dealers, let alone 60,90 etc. Its a numbers game but inventory has to be turned regardless of the unit. No model is safe.

I’ve seen plenty of cars at $4k under msrp for on the lot cars. They go quick though.

Ok, got it. Where I'm located both my dealers are still 10+ people deep with waiting lists for the M2. I suppose there are softer regions/markets out there.

I am in california. Literally within a 30mile radius, every BMW dealership has 1-3 M2's. Some of which been sitting for over 30-45days.

I've noticed this as well. They want all the money and they're getting none of it. I don't think this is solely due to the styling. I think they've made it too expensive and dealers mostly order loaded cars. It's now too expensive to be a value and too much of a value to be expensive.

This can’t be a serious question. Just go drive your car.

kids these days living or dying on whether they got a good deal retrospectively. YOUVE BOUGHT IT ALREADY - JUST ENJOY IT
PS youre goign to loose money regardless of what "deal" you got - new models/refreshes always cause depreciation to the previous model. Has happened all throughout bmw history...

MY 2025 production starts Aug 5. Some (or many) of those will be customer orders. People on this forum report a minimum of 3-4 weeks from factory to delivery. So mid-to-late September you may see some hitting dealer lots?

Anybody seeing any discounts/incentives on these?

Dropped by a local dealer on my way to the store, the salesguy barely wanted to give me the time of day. Took a lot of coaxing for him to even write up a lease quote. Just said no discount, no rebates and wanted me gone.

Such behavior making me want to just wait it out and get one used or a CPO 911. BMW's dealers and the types of people who drive them rub me the wrong way.
