It's hard to see where the tint ends up close so guessing pics aren't going to help. It looks like the tint ends where the seam starts for the 3rd brake light plastic cavity but it is tucked under the rubber seal for that plastic piece if that makes sense. That plastic piece does move and flex a bit and might be removable.

The 3rd brake light needs to be removed for tint install. It pops right off.

No one is going to tuck below the light. Half assed tint installers will go around it (like mine did )

It looks much better without the cutout.

Awe. Yeah I think mine didn't do that cutout. I will take a look later. Currently at the dealer trying to get a new windshield replacement sorted out.

After looking again they did do the cutout just like yours. Not sure I ever would have noticed unless you asked.

Does the weave match the factory weave? I would like a set, it want to make sure it matches the Performance Spoiler weave.

Yes - weave matches perfect to the roof. I installed the TRE ID-01 rear spoiler & again, the weave matched that - I can't comment on it matching the M Perf spoiler, but would think all the aftermarkets copy OEM weave (2X2)

I hope so. This car was covered, somehow my other car wasn't covered for floods and it's been 2.5 days and my insurance agent is still hiding from me.

She said my mods would be covered and dissuaded me from switching to a declared value policy. I hope she wasn't lying. I really don't want to deal with all of this.

We have to replace 3 cars and only two were covered. If I can get another one, I'll be begging the vendors I've dealt with to help me out so I can get back out there and start pushing this thing.

It's so sad. We finally got xhp on the car and it was finally hooking. Our 60-130s were moving into the low 5s and I ran my first 10s pass and we still have way more in it.

Idk when I'll be able to get back to that status. It took tons of research and saving to get to the point where I could buy the car and build it like I did.

Praying the State Farm gods take care of me, I can just wash my hands of my $7k uncovered beater I junked for $250 yesterday, and I can replace the M2 and get a new daily without having to go into massive debt. I had a very small 4 year loan on the M2 and my daily was paid off.

Sorry for the rant. Going through a lot right now.

rons e92 I had State Farm when our house had MAJOR water damage (upstairs water pipe burst when we weren’t home) and had an excellent experience with them. I sincerely hope your experience is just as good!

I would make more calls and escalate if you have any questions still pending (RE: agent hiding/not answering). State Farm is not the cheapest and that’s because you expect good customer service.

Thanks for the positivity.

My agent STILL hasn't called me. The person I pay to help me ensure I have adequate coverage and to help me during times like these.

I've been dealing directly with their Weather and Natural Disaster Depadrnent and they've been great. It's just frustrating because I'm doing everything that I've been paying this woman for since 2019. First real issue and she's MIA.

I find it hard to believe you can't just call the company and talk to someone higher up than your rep.. she's not even the one making decisions related to claims

That's what I've been doing. I don't know if you saw my post where I mentioned dealing exclusively with the Weather and Natural Disaster Department. I'm even beyond claims at this point.

What you seem to not be understanding is I've been paying her for the last 5 years to handle all of this if it ever happened. I was paying her to listen to me, understand my risks, and ensure I had adequate coverage. I'm not an insurance expert. I pay her for that. She gets a percentage of the premium I pay every month.

Now that something happened, I can't even get my agent to call me.

I have had SF insurance for close to 15 years ( my wife even longer ). Most claims have been minor and they were super easy to deal with. Had one larger claim as a result of storm damage and dealt with the same group you are dealing with now. They were really easy to deal with as well and took care of everything to our satisfaction. Best of luck in getting this all resolved in your favor.

I wonder if the local area is “flooded” (pun intended?) with claims right now? I would imagine in heavy storm damage situations like this the local offices get 10x their normal call volume and purely cannot handle the number of inquiries? When my damage happened it was just our home, not related to a storm, so no additional influx of calls to the local office.

You'd think right?

Except my fiancées agent is right down the road from where we live. Her agent got everything taken care of on Monday and her car was inspected by State Farm and declared a total loss yesterday.

My agent is no where near her in an area that experienced no flooding at all.

Question to the community...what color is the inner stitching on your seats?

My car was delivered with a defective row of stitching and I have been trying to get a replacement cover under warranty for 6 months now. Each time my dealer has ordered the part, it shows up with black inner stitching while I have gray/silver. This happened 3 times apparently.

Today they emailed me and stated that BMW told them that the gray stitching version is no longer manufactured so they are not available. They are going to attempt to repair it instead.

I was wondering if my seats are unique due to being frozen paint or something, or if they did a changeover at a certain production date.

Yeah the weird thing is I have not seen a single press photo or review photo of a car with black stitching.

Its odd that the center piece still has the gray stitching but the seat bottoms are black.
