BMW G87 Reduced driving assistance warning

Hello,

I need some help with 2023 M2. I got this car from a car auction. It had a front damage. Long story short, after fixing everything I got a Reduced driving assistance warning light. It comes along with pre-collision, pedestrian and cruise control warnings. Diagnostic tool says that control unit not encoded. Please help!

Does the windshield camera need to be calibrated? Just had my windshield replaced and the calibration was most of the labor/time. Other than that not much I can offer.

calibration of winshieldcamera takes 5 mins for bmw.. you just have to reset it.. it selfcalibrates while driving ... if they quotet more than 20 min they scammed you

FRS= Front Radar Sensor.. if you replaced the FRS unit ( upfont the Radiator) you need to code it and this one needs to be calibradet manually

I did not replace the FRS. FRS sensor looks not damaged. Yes, as I understand I need to code/calibrate this sensor. Is there a way to do it without going to dealer?

no.. you need a special measured workspot, a special mirrorsetup to calibrate the sensor and oem diagnosis software

Is it possible that I just need to code it in to the car, without calibrating it?

I have full glass coverage so my insurance footed the bill with no deductible.

if sensor is coded it will recognise itsself if it is calibratet correct.. if you disassembled it or any bracket it sits on.. you need to calibrate it anyway...
but first it needs to be coded
