Thundernight Metallic best Interior?

I'm leaning very heavily towards ordering a 2025 M240i in a few months. I'm pretty set on Thundernight Metallic with shadowline trim. Also leaning towards the all black rims (2nd choice would be the 2 color rims).

I'm struggling, however, on interior. I'm leaning towards Cognac. I like having the extra color/contrast on the interior as opposed to all black. One slight concern I have though is that the cognac seats might affect the external look of the car as it is all blacked out but the seats are not. We also cannot tint windows in my area. Maybe I'm overthinking that LOL. My second choice for interior would be black. Either the sentec or the blue contrast stitching. I like the blue stitching a bit better but haven't convinced myself real leather is worth the extra cost. All black interior seems a bit bland to me though.

I like the two tone black with red seats I've seen in some 2025 photos a lot but red would not look good with thundernight.

Oyster is a solid choice with TNM. Just ignore the gargoyle in the front seat擁t痴 the only shot I have with the interior and exterior in the same image.

I have Thundernight & Cognac, and am very pleased with the combo. Though mine is not "blacked out" (no black wheels/shadowline.)

The Cognac is the lightest interior I've ever had (all black with other cars except Mocha with a previous BMW) which I was a little hesitant about.

But fortunately before ordering there was a 2 Series on the lot with Cognac (and Portimao Blue exterior) so was able to see in person if you have not and that's an option for you.

I do think the Oyster looks great. I'm just not sure I trust keeping it clean. The cognac is a middle ground between Oyster and Black :-).

I sat in a Portimao Blue on Cognac i4 so not exactly the same but yea, I really liked it.

Cognac is definitely the best with Thundernight

From worst to best imho.

Black -- too boring, stock on cheaper cars
Oyster -- too bright, would be worried about color bleed from jeans, etc.
Canberra -- also bright, just meh
Tacora -- very BOLD, originally my first pick. Would have to match calipers. Might have tougher resale?
Cognac -- overall my favorite as it provides a nice balance / PB&J mix. Can also match with gold / bronze rims

Had I been ordering my new G42 it would have been with Cognac, but I was on-track to buy a different brand when one with Black popped up at my local dealership.

I will happily take delivery later today

Sadly the only all black rims from factory is 995M on M440.... Thick spokes... not a fan. The all black 791M is not available on 2025.... I went with the bi-color 792s.

I wish it were leather in North America though. I like the stitch pattern better and side bolster support.

In a perfect world, cognac would have been my pic.

However, in the real world, I don't like the look of seats and 1 bit of trim being 1 color and then black dash, black carpet, black doors, headliner, etc.

My 2022 Thundernight is trimmed out in in black Vernasca with blue contrast stitching, it's a boring interior color for sure, but I prefer it to the mismatched look.

It wasn't that long ago when you ordered a tan interior, everything was tan.
