Looks like you can see silver poking out on the top edges. Does it look like a taped on piece of carbon, in-person?

Seems like that top-front curved cut could’ve been better. Can you see that in-person?

It sticks on with pre-installed tape. The tape on both parts I ordered came off, so I just installed new (better) thin double sided tape. You'd have to look really close to figure out it's a cover that sticks to the shifter.
