USB-C fast charging not working?
On my 2024 BMW X1 M35 the front seat area USB-C ports will not charge my Samsung S24 Ultra phone in fast charging mode. The rear seat USB-C ports do both indicate Fast charging on the phone using the same phone and cables (I tried several).
I am posting this in a general forum because the loaner 2024 530i has exactly the same problem. I saw a post from 2019 for a BMW X5 that has this problem. The USB-C ports are labeled with a small lightning bolt symbol, which according to the USB-C standard, indicates that the port supports fast charging. Anybody have a BMW that actually does fast charging on the front seat area USB-C ports? |
