I cannot imagine starting over paying for a new M2 after just getting mine in January but there are some nice colors coming out on the MY25 models. And then there is x drive at some point....it just never ends.

I do wonder what I could sell my car for though. There is a used 24 M2 at Motorwerks with 4500 miles on it. Asking price is $69,900, about 3K over sticker price. I've done a couple Kelley blue book valuations and private party sale value is $69 to $71K. I don't think there is enough data yet to to establish the used market prices.
I was mostly joking about trading it in, but with those values…dang.

For sure. I figured you wouldn't trade it in just because of a weird noise.

I honestly don't see any used M2's (ones without the carbon pack) selling for more than $65k. Minnetonka has a new M2 selling for sticker price of $65k.

That would be cool if you get a chance. Listen for a higher pitched ‘fluttering whistle’. I tried to record a video of a few days ago, but it’s not great. I’ll try to shoot a better one today now that the sun is peaking out.

I drove a bit today with the sunroof open and did not notice that type of noise. Hopefully you get it sorted and resolved.

Thanks for checking. I made an appointment for Monday. Crossing fingers.

I dropped my car off for the window whistling issue and the 1st year old change. Haven’t heard about the whistling yet, but two things about the oil change:

They stated:

1) No signs of anything leaking under the car yet.

Yet? lol. Man the stereotypes about BMW leaks are real.

2) My tires are down to 5mm all around after only 4k miles.

Good lord! I don’t track and haven’t even done any burnouts. I have the Michelins. Anyone else have this much tread wear after only a year?

That sounds like a bad talk track from the service tech. Why should we be worried about leaking?

I haven't even thought about my tire wear yet. I have about 1500 to 2000 miles on my michelins and they look new to me. Thought I did expect to have to get new tires every 2 to 3 years. We will see as I'm driving my car far less now with picking up a daily driver last week.

I brought mine in for the 10k service with brand new star ps4s's on the rear and they marked them as yellow for wear. I think they just come with very little tread depth?

I guess so! No big deal, I was just surprised. I was imagining 2-3 year tire replacement was the norm (depending on miles and habits obviously).
