The factory license plate holder for Switzerland is oversized (see the G82 example below), which is probably why the owner of that G87 mounted that variant.

We have the same issue here is Australia too.
Luckily for me that in doing my online car part shopping for a car I don’t even own yet (arrives in December) I found a solution .https://flowbrackets.com.au/products...-holder-plinth

Yes everyone loves it because with the large flared guards, big protruding side sills, and perfect proportions, it looks special, and like a very serious performance car.
The G87 M2 has a massive road presence and turns a lot of heads when people see it in the flesh (or metal).

Its just right at vents! Its just reflecting around the gear shift
