Interior pics with moonroof delete? Bright and airy?

Can anyone please post some pics/videos of 230i/M240i interior with a moonroof delete? Preferably during daylight outside.
The main argument for not deleting the roof (aside from this) is that it supposedly makes the car "bright and airy" and I wanted to understand how much "brighter and airier" exactly and how much darker it is in the dungeon.
Moonroof delete is a fairly uncommon option and I haven't been able to find any good pics/videos from driver POV for G42 specifically.
In the configurator the difference looks huge, but I know that I won't actually have the moonroof in my FOV during driving, so the camera position in configurator is misleading, looking from back seats, which are penalty seats in a 2 door coupe, but that is expected.
I'm sceptical about moonroof providing that much more light in a small coupe, so I wanted to solicit pics from real life and opinions about this.

I think if the delete offered a carbon fiber roof alternative, more people would go for it. 2025 models are starting to come in, so maybe someone optioned it. I would've considered it if there was a carbon fiber option.

You know, with the shades closed, only a very little amount of light passes through the sunroof. So I say don't over think it. Get what you want.

I almost always keep my shade closed during the day. I like my interiors very dark partially because my eyes are very sensitive to light. That being said, I like the fact knowing that I can open it up at any time.

My main use for the sunroof is as a vent (popped up instead of slid back) when the windows are open. Let’s the breeze flow very nicely without wind buffeting. If I had to do it all over again, I feel like I would be missing out if I didn’t option a sunroof, even considering I don’t use it all that much

Honestly could not imagine not having a moonroof in a small coupe. It feels so small and cave-like without one.

Yes, I know, it's the worst place for weight, but unless you're a professional racer, it's not noticeable.

I’m getting the moonroof delete. Much more headroom for a 6’2” guy like me.

In addition to the added light, I also use my moonroof in tilted position for some extra ventilation a lot, as well as when the car is parked in the garage to prevent it getting stale inside. Something else to consider.

My concern with the moonroof delete is resale. When it comes with the car at no additional cost, how many buyers want a M240 without a moonroof?

Now, when someone selects moonroof delete, if BMW would deduct a reasonable amount from the MSRP then that might get my attention.

I'm ambivalent about a moonroof but I'm not ambivalent about money.

Love the moonroof. Usually have the shade opened to allow light in. As many said, use it for ventilation as well.

I open the moonroof whenever possible! I would pay to get the moonroof! To each their own ...

We have to pay extra for it in the uk and I’m glad I optioned it. It’s a lot lighter in the cabin especially with the white leather.

I could take it or leave. If I'm wearing a hat I can't even see out of the sunroof unless I'm looking straight up. I normally drive with it closed. Not sure why I need more light in the cabin.

Apparently I haven’t taken any pictures looking forward from the back seat.

Would a side view work for you?
I find the lack of moonroof opens the car.

Could you please clarify how the "lack of moonroof opens the car?"

Sorry I didn’t clarify.
There’s more headroom.
The ceiling is a few inches lower with the moonroof.

What I don't understand is that for here in the U.S., for the 230; the sunroof delete option saves you $800; same sunroof delete in the M240...no credit $0 savings. Makes no sense to me....

Is that reality? I don’t have the sunroof in the M240 but I have had it in past BMWs. In those BMWs, the sunshade was recessed slightly and when you side it back the glass roof is recessed a few centimetres more giving more headroom in the front. However, in the back it does reduce headroom as it has to go somewhere. I’m not convinced the roof is thicker at the front.
Did it bother me? I’ve plenty headroom in the M240 (and I’m not short). I’d don’t sit in the back so that doesn’t matter.

You can see that in configurator and even on my images in first post.

I wouldn’t rely on the configurator. In some cases it shows an interior without a steering wheel.

Well, there's a difference between "failed to load" and "model is wrong".
But anyway, I would still love to see the verification through pictures too, thus my original request.
