It was 28-29C (~84F) yesterday. It's very dry and dusty here, hasn't rained in a couple weeks. We're looking forward to another week without rain in the mid 20s, slowly cooling.
Went for a little road trip to a bike park yesterday. There was some live band playing in the park and they mentioned it was the last Sunday of the summer... |

Our overnight low was a comfortable 49 F last night, and the week's forecast is for daytime high temps to be slowly dropping through the 70's F as the week progresses. We may get rain from down south on Wednesday.
The southern rain will be coming from another surprise tropical storm that will be popping up off of Myrtle Beach, SC and moving inland. No threat to our SC tree farm, although today's high will only be 71 F with rain and a lake wind advisory.....

80s and mid to upper 80s in Chicago for the rest of this week into the third week of September for the first time since I moved here thirteen years ago and I am not a happy camper!!! I didn’t move here to have Texas-ish weather in September!!!
