Aventurine is on a whole other level compared to Vegas/Fire Red.

Also those photos do look pretty edited, I think Vegas is a nice colour but if you look at some of the videos of that new 5 series on YouTube it doesn’t look amazing from every angle, just SOME angles.

Dang it, this is what I was afraid of. Really hope we get to see more examples of Vegas Red on the M2 soon so I can make my decision in time to order....

This video seems seems to have better lighting. I can see the depth of the color better here.

Vegas Red is a solid color, best for the M2 imo (without getting into the insanely priced Individual options).

If the M240i didn't have the even more unique Thundernight as an option I would go Vegas Red for sure.

Also, the combo of the Cognac interior looks better than I thought it would.

It would be great if you could get some good quality (unedited) pics.

Cognac interior is not available with Vegas Red on the M2. That pic above eitg the silver wheels looks awful, imo

Wild, looks like Cognac is not an option anymore... so the M2 has rough interior options compared to the better looking M240i. The M240i has Tacora red which looks great with many colors as well. The sportier seats are nice (available in other countries for the M240i, but not the US), but I need some color in my interior not just red highlights that look like a skinned Deadpool.

I wish cognac were still an option. I disagree that the M240 is better looking than the M2 though. I had a Brooklyn Gray M240i xdrive with Tacora interior. Great looking car but I like those M2 flourishes that make it more aggressive looking (mainly the wide hips). Plus the M2 is available with a manual. I would consider BG again but it would feel too much like my previous m240

I can't stand how the 240 looks. So tame in comparison.

This was my experience. I saw it on an X2 at the dealer back in May and it was just such a disappointing colour. In direct sunlight with clear skies it’s quite metallic and interesting as long as there is no soul red Mazda near by. But in the shade it’s this gross dried blood, non metallic colour that kind of hides the lines of the car.

Aventurine doesn’t have any of these flaws, I wish we got that.

It is too bad that Cognac has been discontinued. E46 M3s in Le Man's Blue with the Cinnamon Interior are absolutely to die for, and the same would have been true for a Portamaio and Cognac combination. Or Vegas and Cognac.

This is Calypso Red, but it gives you an idea of a Vegas/Cognac combination could have looked like.

That's one reason I don't feel too bad about "settling" for a 2023. With a Race Chip and a couple other mods, the only thing I'm missing is the flat bottom steering wheel.

I've never liked tan/brown interiors on any car, and imo cognac gives off a yellow hue. My wife has the Tartufo interior in her Marina Bay Blue X3MC which neither of us really care for, but it was the only X3MC near us at the time, and she loved the blue. We were also able to deal with the interior because we paid about $20k less than it would've cost to order the same vehicle - sacrifices

I would have preferred Saddle Brown as an option, but I actually have grown to like Cognac. Pictures do make it look more "yellow" than it looks in person.

Post a Pic of the tartufu.

These aren't mine, but are identical to what we have. Realized I don't have any pics of it. I guess because I don't like it.
