Thank you 😊
Only downside is the iOS app is 🏋️so unreliable! It doesn't want to connect, especially whilst driving 🚗

I’ll let Germany know.
I will see them at SEMA and possibly December when I visit their HQ.

Ok, I have some questions if you don't mind answering them?

Is your car a 6mt or auto? And when you say the "wheel spin is crazy" does it get any more controllable when the tires are warmed up? Are you only using the highest race settings on the tuning chip? Having crazy wheel spin is my biggest fear in getting a tune as I'd rather stay stock then deal with a bunch of unusable extra power.

I had this issue too recently, mine just completely stopped connecting. I had to delete it from “my devices” in the Bluetooth settings then reinstall it as if it were brand new and got it to work again.

Yes, I learned a trick yesterday!
Turn off the wifi and the Bluetooth picks up Racechip module instantly. I think Apple carplay is causing the issue.

I also wonder if I can set it on ECO mode on the app (map 3 or 4) when I'm doing long distance driving for more fuel efficiency. I don't think any point in driving on Map 6 or 7 on freeway cruising.

You can.
I got a customer that set Eco to 5, Sport to 6, and Race to 7.

Yea, you will face that time to time, such as; when Android or iOS have an update and when RaceChip’s App have an update.

In some cases they are different maps due to 91 Octane.
Hence they asked me to confirm their maps with California 91 Octane to make sure they are fine or need tweaking.
Also, with EU6 regulation on OPF, sometime their map is weaker than ours.

That connector at the bottom is a massive pain! But boy does the car feel good now! This is how it should of came, really debating one of those remote "CSL" code sessions to bring everything else up to this level.

Got it installed on my 6MT!

It took us about 1:30. Getting the "a" connector hooked up below the water pump was fairly difficult. It would have been a lot easier with a lift.

But all worth it. Holy cow...the improvement is incredible. More power across the board.

And then I drove my friend's ZF auto with a Racechip and Dinan exhaust. Holy sh*%#.

Amazing with either transmission.

Couldn't be happier.

Yea, the A / Boost sensor is the hardest one.
Still best to do it from the top.
Just need to remove the driver side intake, 10mm nut, lift the waterpump, long pick, and small hand.
Best to work on it with cool engine.

I am 99% certain buying the Racechip tuning box next spring for my G87. If any current users of a Racechip are moving into a different tuning options and want to sell your unit feel free to PM me. I could purchase prior to next spring if I could get a used price on one.

I picked mine up refurbished, and it was nearly 50% off It's really what pushed me over the edge.

What year is your M2? I just confirmed with Racechip that the '23-'24 Racechip isn't going to be compatible with '25+, so putting the one I have on my new car when it comes in isn't going to be an option.
