Interest rates will drop even more by the time you take delivery. Thank uncle Jerry for that That said, do you have a build week for your São Paulo M2. I am at status 111 with a build week of 42. I’m curious if you have any information.

Just secured one with a $1,500 discount. Should be a November build slot. Deals are out there with a little hunting!

I know you're not able to track that. It was a rhetorical question, but you left that crucial detail out of your post where you made the assertion that "no one is buying right now."

I don't think cars sitting on lots is a clear indicator that they aren't selling overall. I'd assume with a specialty car like the M2 that most sales are custom orders, but that is also speculation.

Good for you, I don't know any dealers offering that - at least not yet

I’m getting $3k off msrp for a ‘24 and $500 for bmwcca. Still debating if I should order a ‘25 since the car is exactly how I’d spec it but with a bunch of m performance parts.

Discounts are out there - not sure if this one could be replicated, but ordered a 2025 M2 in June and got 7% off sticker. Large dealer in the greater Midwest. Sales manager left before I took delivery. New one said he was baffled by the deal and wouldn’t do it again. I guess I’m lucky.

Took delivery this past Friday. Will post pictures soon.

Yea that sounds insane. Did you take a beating on a trade in or need to sign up for a bunch of excess dealer packages? Or finance at some super high rate?

Cash deal. No add ons.

Only additional cost was to buy a $300 one-way plane ticket and a $60 uber to get to the dealer from the airport.

Like I said, crazy deal…

I thought I had a deal secured but then the bill of sale or whatever had a $1500 protection package on it. Said we wont budge because other dealers are selling over MSRP.
Your parameters should not be that hard to meet.

Placed order today with 10% discount. Located in Europe. November production.

Voodoo blue individual
ZF
Carbon buckets
Carbon roof
Carbon interior
Bicolor wheels
Lightning pack
H&K

My first new m-car at almost 45 years old. I am super excited! Got my first m3 e36 in 1999 and been dreaming about ordering an individual M-car ever since those days.

Will be used summertime by both me and my wife so ZF was a demand to get her to agree on the purchase 😅

These discounts will be more prevalent as we go further into 2025 and into 2026. The car market is changing.

In New England and reading to find a dealer that doesn’t suck for a spring delivery Voodoo Blue order. No more than MSRP and would prefer a deposit of no more than $2500.

Any ideas?

Depends on how many cars are built, most larger dealers are only getting 4-5 cars this year which will likely keep demand up

Wait until Trump imposes 200% tax on all cars made in Mexico, as he promised, and see if you can get a discount on BMW M2 then.

Do you anticipate that BMW would increase production, hold production levels steady, or decrease production of the M cars?

I would imagine that if they're still selling for close to MSRP, you would want to try to increase production to match that demand unless you intend to give up that market share.

BMW is still a mainstream production brand - it's not an exotic.

If he gets elected and if that happens, it will only be temporary until the Mexican government cuts off the flow of illegal immigration. Once the Mexican government has a financial incentive to change their behavior, it will.
