does port installed mean the M performance suspension installed from factory? If it does, do they charge you anything extra besides the cost of the actual springs? Like installation.

That's coilover money before you pay for the installation. They're adjustable height, covered by warranty, won't throw a code because you're not removing the electronic dampers, which means you also get to continue using the drive modes associated with them. I call that a win.
Not for everyone, the above is just my reasoning. |

For over $5k on that build I think the better route would be to get some custom wheels with the correct offset; spacers work, but are not preferred.

I wish the coilovers that keep the stock damping control weren’t double the price.
Having a childhood friend that owns a performance shop helps. Although I don’t know if I’d call him a friend if he’s still charging me. |

I track the crap out of my M2 with 12mm front and rear spacers on a 18x10.5 apex rim. I have had zero issues as I use studs and used high quality spacers. I used to just run 12mm front and my ocd had me add them to the rear, when I was offset I didn't notice much handling difference so as far as I can tell it doesn't make a big difference.
Pros: - More stability (less body roll during turns) - More grip (a wider track distributes forces more evenly during cornering) - Wider Tires (more rubber, more better) - Aggressive appearance (this is personal taste) Cons: -Drag (anything outside of body panels will add drag) -Lift (wheels can scoop air into wheel well and cause lift) - Altered suspension dynamics (can cause more stress on suspension)

15mm spacers all around...absolutely no issues but minor rubbing on fender liner which I dremeled the vanes that are rubbing and no issue now.

Yea -10 is supposed to be how they set it at port. You can go up to -25 front and -20 rear with the adjustibility.
