My car flipped to 150 last night with a 10/2 production date.

Which is like 8% of the cars total value for plastic wrap to protect against SOME potential damage. Rock chip repair over the time someone has the car would likely be way less than $6k. It won’t protect against the bigger stuff, you can’t remove it when you trade or sell the car and it needs to be replaced eventually for another $6k+ which will now be approaching 20% of the cars original value spent on plastic wrap for a few chips and a ding or two. Not worth it.

I would do the front end and hood if anything for $2kish.

Ready to be picked up… except a stop sale was issued for a missing interior trim piece… should be a few day… not sure why this was not resolved while HAS was being installed for last 3 weeks in CA.

Although I'm a 2024 car, I was on the Glovis Champion initially dropped off at Brunswick, GA. FINALLY the car is "in transit" to the PCD in SC now and I have a pickup date offered for Monday, September 30th so it PCD is not adding much additional time right now at all.

Hoping to do the pickup on Thursday, October 3rd to better fit my work schedule but will need to confirm that date is available later today or tomorrow (coordinating with my friend who is helping me do the drive back to NJ).

kraken yes, they will do the scheduling once "work order is complete." So my work order must have completed yesterday, and they gave my CA the first available date and he called me.

This morning my app switched to "in transit" so assuming it is now on a truck headed to PCD.

How did you find out the status of work order? Genius?

Yup that's correct and also my CA was calling each day the last 3 days (because we knew it would be soon since it had been at port for over a week now). So my CA was calling the PCD directly.

I know that's what everyone says about a yellow car and the cops, but I had a Screaming Yellow 2005 Mustang GT for 10 years, and was never pulled over a single time. No doubt they see you, but they have to have a reason to pull you over, don't they?
