Door creak while opening/closing?

Anyone have experienced creaking noise while closing/opening the door?

In my case when closing the driver side door while is 70% closed there is this creak that is annoying the crap out of me. I can literally move the door open/close and make a symphony with the creak it’s making.

Had same issue. Sprayed a little wd40 into the black door hinge , the part going into the door. No more noise!

Thank you. I’ll try this vs having the dealer take apart the doors.

My friend who also has a brand new m2 started to hear the same creak….. like wtf. I added grease in the black arm looking thing and didn’t do anything.

Taking it to the dealer is the best method. They won’t pull anything apart, but they will clean and use the appropriate grease as needed. If they determine a part is faulty they’ll replace it.

If you know which grease they use (perhaps your dealer is far, so call their service department and ask), use that grease to try to fix the issue.

Don’t use WD40.

Agree...WD40 is no bueno.

I experience a sound like this, but it seems to be from the window going back up.
