Thoughts between two colors? Brooklyn Grey or Portimao Blue

Hey everyone. Ordered my 2025 M240i this week. I have until the end of October to make any changes, but not too sure on colors yet. Does anyone have any images/opinions on the two colors (BG and PB) and how it is to live with them using it as a daily driver? Thanks!

Can't go wrong either way. I ordered the MY25 PB, current sitting at port since 9/12 for mysterious reasons... ordered PB because we have a MY24 X3 M40 at home in BG.
BG doesn't show when it's dirty.... both are great colors for G42.

I have Brooklyn Grey but love Portimao Blue, if both colors were available but otherwise optioned the same, I likely would have went with PB. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

BG seems to be quite easy to live with and stands out a little as far as grey colors go. I've owned two blue cars and neither were very difficult to live with either. In fact, the only color car I've owned that was a nightmare was black.

I chose BG because my car handles daily driving duty and lives outdoors year round. It is by far the best color I've ever owned for hiding dirt, and that includes a number of silver cars. With that said, BG doesn't pop like darker colors when it's freshly detailed.

PB is a sharp color, which I think looks great, but it will be at the other end of the scale as BG for showing dirt. Being a darker color it will show dust, dirt, and water spots more. However, when it's clean and the sun is shining, it's a color that really pops...

Your call in the end, but I'd say you can't go wrong either way.

Hope this helps,
Bill

BG owner chiming in. As mentioned, it looks good dirty so its lower maintenance from a car washing perspective. Aside from that, i think it looks awesome and I appreciate passing other BG’s on the road.

They are both great colors. I went back and forth between the two and ended up with BG.

One thing I highly suggest is to see both colors in person. The digital and print images don’t do either justice, especially what they show on BMWs site.

I intended to order mine in BG, but a nearby dealer had a perfectly spec'd model in stock that was PB that I ended up buying off the lot. No regrets after seeing a few BG on the road, I think I made the better choice.
