You seem to have made your mind up on the camera and that is translating to the rest of the kit. Thinkware do good cam. I like Blackvue as they are more discreet. The latest ones hive amazing definition in all lighting types.
Edit: I checked and it doesn’t tie into the battery, just the ACC.

My ideal dashcam would have been Viofo 299 Pro Driving + Thinkware U3000 Parking + Blackvue Cloud...but since that camera doesn't exist (yet) and Parking mode is most important for me, I chose the U3000 combo kit with decent resolution & cloud... 2-3 years maybe the Big 3 will have all caught up with each other to produce the perfect camera
