I installed front bumper, headlights, 30" hood, fenders to match, mirrors, full rockers, a-pillars, portion of the roof, door handles/cups and rear bumper guard by the trunk.

If you've done any phone/tablet/laptop soft screen protectors before, the area you have highlighted shouldn't be too bad for beginners. Assuming you've not done any PPF before.

It also shouldn't be too expensive that it would hurt to throw it away, if you didn't like how it turned out.

No thank you. I tried installing some laser cut paint protection film on my mountain bike once, figured it should be easy and maybe take me an hour, two tops. Maybe I'm challenged, maybe it's just not as easy as it looks when you watch other people do it, but I'll gladly pay someone else to do it. I have no desire to buy all the materials only to do a half assed job that looks worse than before I started.

I'd rather pay for ppf than deal with repainting, but that's just me.

we've had this discussion before, but a lot of these choices do come down to where the strengths are in your trusted vendor rolodex. i have never, ever had an issue with mismatching paint jobs and had a car window out resprayed for the same price as full body ppf. as always... YMMV
