Carbon Roof

Due to put an order in next week - settled on frozen Grey but I'm debating the carbon roof but undecided with adding a gloss finish roof to a matte car. Any advice or pics of owners with above spec much welcomed.

They’re all over the forums, just see what you like more. Your options are carbon or sunroof so dint worry about finish, think about functionality.

Also frozen colors aren’t matte, they’re satin which has a gloss like luster to it.

It's either carbon or standard roof - won't be putting sunroof in.

Will have a look around for examples

You can also put a stealth (matte) ppf on the cf roof to maintain the look.

Since you would definitely want to ppf the cf roof, if you wanted to keep it matte, then this /\/\

I didn’t want a sunroof and they didn’t offer the metal flattop in the US. I love the CF roof. If the headliner were alcantara, I’d love it even more. I may get that done at some point.

If a car has a carbon roof option you should pick it.

+2 on matte PPF on the roof. It’s gonna look rad.

If you adding cf parts just clear bra the roof if not stealth (matte) ppf ///
Just picked up a 2025 frozen grey couple days ago..
Was not planning on this color - but got a great deal on it.

Get the paint, seats, roof you want now. The rest can be changed easilly.

It flows better than you think since the windshield and back window are just as glossy as the roof, esp with tint.

Thanks all for the feedback!! Leaning towards adding the CF roof - it's an expensive option here €4500

I have exactly the options you are discussing- frozen grey with a carbon roof. It looks fantastic (but I would say that) and the roof blends into the gloss of the windscreen and rear window perfectly.

The only thing I would say is that the clearcoat on the carbon roof is not quite up to the quality I want- it's quite orange peeley and particularly around the shark fin, the finish was not glass smooth. I fixed the latter with a corrective polisher, but the orange peel is not fixable without a respray. Just something to check when you take delivery.

I'll try to figure out how to post some pictures

Beautiful car. Exact spec externally I'm probably going to go for. Do you have any rear pictures or side rear of the spoiler? Did you have any issues removing the lip from the frozen paint?

Sure, here you go- is that what you needed? Sorry about the rain, UK weather and all that. The spoiler came pre-installed, so no experience with install/removal of that. I have added TRE splitter and side skirts and had need to remove the splitter this weekend - no issues with the paint integrity
