Congrats on the RS3. I hear they are bananas. You and your son can always trade back and forth to keep things fresh.

Exactly lol. It is bananas , it’s very high strung for sure. I hope it wasn’t a mistake purchase lol… day 1 was fun. I had found an m3 but it was just too expensive and I can’t really start with a lot of mileage. Also found a few x3ms here and there but I ended with this somehow. Time will tell I guess. The m2 is certainly more refined and just different , smoother, etc. Haven’t had much time in either car yet but will report back for sure

I too would love a manual and would have gotten another m2 but I cannot have manual as I use the car for work and cannot have manual and really kind of need a back door to get dog and stuff in and out. Almost bought an m3 but even with mileage they are expensive then drove this and what a blast! Day 1 was great!

Check it out

For what it worth, I think the m2 is a “better” car in many ways… just this fit my needs better for now. But I think quality and overall the m2 is just better if that makes any sense. I already had the infotainment freeze on me twice and I had to reset it on day 1. If that happens again tomorrow she’s going back and I’ll be in an m3 at somehow lol I hope it’s just some software update of some sort we shall see
They both look amazing!! Hope to see either one driving around Laudy 🤙

Recently sold my '23 RS3 after 2 years - fun cars but wanted to get back to rwd with more power. The RS3 is basically a fwd car although they keep improving it (and will again for 2025)

I also considered a CT4V Blackwing....they are now in the low 50s to high 40s and Tapout Tuning is getting 600 rwhp

yes I hear you on the RWD and power.. although this baby does move.. it runs circles around my "powerfull" RWD charger(s) lol...

it's also nice knowing that I can actually push the gas pedal anytime under any conditions and not worry about sliding into a ditch ... biggest problem with my scat and hellcat was the (lack of) traction... all the power in the world doesn't help if you can't ever use it... the cat would break lose even at 40-50 mph on a bone dry road if you punched it lol...

My buddy with modded C7 Z06 has same problem - first gear is absolutely useless and rear will come around very easily

You need to stay alert at C & C. At least warmup the tires before applying all the power! I think the 2nd photo is an M4.

Plus insurance was getting silly on the scat but yes power without traction kind of sucks. I got used to it and can probably drive and launch a scat as well as anyone after 5 of them lol but still. ‘My rs3 and m2 both take off with no issue so far.

Congrats OP. Both are very nice. Is RS3 used or new? Hopefully you got a good discount since 2025 is about to start production.

Thanks! The rs is brand new. Paid msrp so probably not a great deal although I’ve heard some people in other areas paid over msrp which is crazy these days on any car lol.

Awesome, does he go to FAU? I tend to grab lunch in that area. I’m a couple blocks down the street from Mizner Park on Federal. Let me know if you guys ever go to a Supercar Saturday or Cars and Coffee I try to go to one or the other once a month.

Side note! It’s ironic that you had a hellcat and your son has a M2. I’m think I’m close to your sons age (I’m 27) and my dad has a redeye 😄

Gotcha, my cousin just graduated from Lynn last year!

They typically happen once a month.
Supercar Saturdays is at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, this months event is on the 12th at 9am.

Cars and Coffee has a Miami event at the international mall and a Palm beach event at Wellington Green. The Miami one hasn’t been announced yet but the Palm Beach one is this Sunday.

Here are their instagram accounts as well:
