Engine bay dress up finished

Well.. I might do the 2 small covers in the back in CF, but I doubt it.

Finished my engine bay dress up with the titanium strut braces (purchased from a forum member - thanks M2 CCO !!).

Billet caps all around
Indiv CF Engine cover
Indiv CF terminal cover
Auto Teknic CF cooling shroud ( but I think the OEM one is structural - it's very heavy duty. Might switch back to that after powder coating.)
MAD cold air intake
CenCal Motorsport Titanium strut brace
Down Star engine dress up kit

I am no longer (as) embarrassed to open my hood at car meets. Our engine bays just ain't much to look at.

Just curious - but does any of this void warranty stuff? For the air filters, how often do those need to be cleaned up and re-oiled?

No, none of it voids the warranty, but if I ever need to take my car in for service & the braces or any component using the dress up bolts needs to be removed, I will put back the OEM bolts. I could see the dealer 1) losing the Downstar nut, bolt or dress washer or 2) saying they won't do the work until I put the OEM bolts back.

Also, I did not replace the fender bolts with Downstar's. Wanted to leave those OEM BSM as they're painted along with the fender & removing them would disrupt that paint.

The MAD CAI uses dry filters that do not need to be oiled. You clean them with vacuum, soap & water if needed. Let dry before reinstalling or driving the car.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
