Regarding downpipes, I want the ability to flash back to stock for NYS inspection and be emissions ready, no CEL and pass inspection and I thought the AA downpipes were the only ones to accomplish this but I could be wrong.

OTS for now until I decide to push e and upgrade fuel system.

Dce Parts resonated midpipe. With valves 100% open it is bonkers in sport plus mode. My car is a EURO car, so lots of resonators and 2 OPF filters deleted. Huge difference, will try to make a sound clip this weekend 😀

You don't need to upgrade the fuel system if tuning an e blend (e30/e40). If going full e85, totally different story but you are then talking another league (and if going that route with a true custom tune, not BM3, then might as well also go single big turbo and do it right).

You probably know more about this than I do, I’m new to tuning so just been self educating and trying to learn. This will be my first tune.

If I’m trying to get more hp in CA (ACN91) what would be a conservative approach to getting to a healthy 600hp? e30?

I assume flex fuel kit only then if I run enormous would I not need to do anything? I don’t know what other upgrades I’ll need past a turbo back system and new air filters (decharcoaled).

You think I’ll need new cooling or anything like that? I don’t want to push past 600 until I change my clutch. I’ll probably keep OTS for now until I find a good custom tune.

Not necessarily there is a few variables and I am not an expert. I imagine the biggest one is depends how much power you're wanting to make and if it will be able to hold it.

Was just watching a YT video review of a 640hp M2 and they didn't have an upgraded clutch but just talked about 1st and 2nd gear being torque limited.

I've seen posts saying even a JB4 will kill the clutch right away.

I guess if you limit the torque it'll help

As I said yesterday, today I got the 2025 dme flash. To me it is def worth it, car picks up faster as from 2k revs, pulls harder till redline!

It will be overwritten, mostly you can let it reflash for a little fee. My software updates are disabled.

I have been fighting for 3 hours trying to get these tabs to lock back into place. Changing out the diffuser is not a fun task. Bout to take the whole rear bumper off to do it.

Yes, it’s a bitch. Stock comes off pretty easy.
I pushed a small rolled up towel behind to give some resistance, left a small corner of the towel hanging (to grab later) slid it up & in behind the diffuser, was able to get the middle tabs to connect using the towel for resistance, and then pull the towel out. I’ve still got one tab on the side I’m working on- may have pull my bumper too.
My thumbs are still sore lol.

Yeah think I will pull the bumper today. Crazy to have to do that to get a clip or two to lock into place.
