Issues with My BMW Remote Services?

Anyone else recently experiencing issues with the remote services via the My BMW app? I haven’t been able to ge the unlock/lock/remote start to work the last couple of days. The app couldn’t even determine where my vehicle was (it used Thursday’s last parked location 20 miles away as my current location today) and Spotify wasn’t working as well. The latter two resolved themselves after I ran the installed apps update from the idrive menu, but still unable to successfully use remote services. I have deleted and reinstalled the My BMW app on my iPhone as well. New car battery installed my BMW in February. Car hasn’t been serviced recently and everything on the car and iPhone are current with no config changes in months. Pressing the lock button three times from the key fob still remote starts the engine though. It’s really odd - at a loss what to try next as everything was working fine just last week. TIA!

Yes, I’m having all the same issues as you. I’m glad it’s not me just going crazy. I emailed the BMW app link I was provided and waiting on a response. When I get something of value I’ll post.

Due to ongoing disruptions from Hurricane Helene we're currently experiencing a network outage affecting several ConnectedDrive services, including but not limited to: RTTI, Spotify, Weather, News, and Remote Services (door lock, unlock, vehicle status), login via Driver's profile/QR code unavailable. We’re working hard to resolve this as quickly as we can. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the update! Glad neither of us were going crazy! Of course, first-world problems given all the devastation to those in Helene’s path. God be with all those impacted by the devastation.

This is interesting. For the past week or so I have had 2 episodes of about 2 days length where the Nav system had no traffic information and the SIRIUSXM streaming channels were not available. I wonder if this has been caused by the same issue.

Gremlins.
I suspect the extremely brutal winter we had in Chicago did a number on it.

I had a similar issue with the location of my car not updating in the app. I fixed it by restarting ID (pressing and holding the volume button for 30 sec).
