My BMW app stopped communicating with my m2 about a day ago, none of the remote functions are working, and it says “gps not enabled in vehicle.” I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, selecting/deselecting the my bmw app sync/gps/trip etc in data privacy settings, nothing has worked. Interestingly, I tried to sign in to the bmw website to check the connected drive settings online, and it says their website is down due to technical difficulties from the impact of hurricane Helene. This makes me wonder if the app issue is related to that as well, since it lost comms with my car around the time the hurricane made landfall. Anyone else having issues with the app right now or just me?

Yes, experiencing similar issues (its communicating with my cars but for instance cant make my payment). You posted the reason (affects from Hurricane Helene).

Yep same issue. It at least shows my wife's vehicle on her app but says it's at home & unlocked when it's not. On my app both her vehicle & mine say gps not activated & show the vehicles under the tarp.

Mine is showing my car in the garage but apparently my wife is stepping out with a neighbor because it's showing her's 2 houses over

Mine hasn't updated in days.

My app hasn't updated for either vehicle since 10/4 @ 4:38 pm. I've deleted and reinstalled the app, no difference. :
