The renders look great but something tells me some details here seem off. For instance, the rear section where the exhaust is seems a light gray in these renders but black elsewhere. The lighter color helps the rear bumper read much nicer as the bumper looks whole. Also perhaps it's the head on view but the rear reflectors are not as noticeable in these renders. Lastly the profile view seems to show a short overhang like the F series compared to the G series that always seemed to have a longer snout. Or am I just starting to warm up to it??

Yeah, I definitely see it now. Crazy how different BG can look in pics. Here's one with more blue in it with a 230i for ref:

All the available colors are very boring.
The base 2 series has much nicer selection with the Blue and Purple.

They need to offer at least a medium Blue of some sort like Estoril Blue.

No prob. This for Thundernight...maybe? Sometimes I feel color blind All of these will also look a little different based on individual screen/settings.

Not sure how close this is to Portimao but here's a blue. I matched it more to the visualizer because the color looks different in every picture I look at.

I have a feeling they’re saving some really good colors for the Comp.

I hope that's the case. Currently waiting it out for the Comp model and seeing what new colors are being offered.

Appreciate it! I actually don't have any social media accounts. Just on different car forums. Feel free to use any of the images as you like.

My guess is that they will.
It’s the opposite. BMW will do individual on M2 as probably stated here but the plant is behind being ready to do so

As posted elsewhere within the G87 sub-forum, a recent internal memo stated that individual paint will not be happening for the foreseeable future.

Are you referring to this post? If so, that was cleared up by BMWBLOG as a misinterpretation.

No, I am referring to an internal memo from NA. Individual paint at SLP was specifically mentioned. As stated, it is a no go for the foreseeable future.

So... it wasn't uploaded to the forum, just word of mouth? Haven't been able to find anything so far.

Correct, the document has not been uploaded to the forum. A very good way to become unemployed. It is also not “word of mouth.”

Only if this was offered in Portimao Blue like the G42 ...

I love how it changes to a lighter blue accent in the sun and to a darkish blue during nights or when its a cloudy day making it very aggressive looking especially with the glossy black elements

I actually don't like it in BSM, a first for sure! I was genuinely surprised that losing all the details in black doesn't actually improve the design as it did with the G80 M3.

I also love the Portimao, Thundernight, and Silverstone examples. Overall I am most disappointed in the official colors.
I would happily wait a couple of years if I knew I could get a Speed yellow M2. Same colour as the M5
