I placed my order and did not opt for the red calipers. I went over my order multiple times before it was submitted and my order confirmation doesn't show them.

After my M2 went into production I noticed red calipers under standard equipment. I immediately called my CA and a BMW genius. I was told that it's probably just the system and all should be fine because the order went in correctly. The app was showing red, but BMW garage was showing blue.

Today I finally picked up the M2 and it had the red. We went over the order again and confirmed the code for red was never put on the order, but the sticker showed red as standard equipment.

Is it possible my specific combo makes red standard? My CA offered to take $500 off MSRP, but I'd rather get what I ordered. I have no idea what BMW is going to do and I'm not getting my hopes up. Any suggestions? Thoughts?

Sorry that happened,
One option you could tell them is to have a body shop re repaint the calipers... I would ask to paint them. Same color as the car /// and take the 500.00

Definitely something to consider. They were going to take the $500 off MSRP, but I took the car.

I guess I can ask for $500 worth of something. Maybe a ski rack and other parts?
